Honest to goodness City Hotel with good Service Attitude and Great Location

There are 2 Sylvia hotels in this area, but on Maps it is only labeled as one so it is misleading. There is premier hotel and a budget hotel (going for 200,000rp per night). The premier is around 3-4 times more expensive. So when you book be clear about which hotel you’re booking for. I stayed at the budget one, no high expectations, as I was in Kupang for one night only. Comfortable room with bathtub quite dirty, but good tv and air-conditioning. Breakfast option available as a supplement.

Good hotel, central location in Kupang, clean and spacious rooms

It's right at the center of the city. Close to everywhere. Good employee. Their wifi isn't fast, but also isn't slow. The hot water doesn't really work. As a budget hotel, it's quite good.

I stayed at Kupang Sylvia Hotel for one day during a 4-day business trip with colleagues. As the hotels in NTT Ende and Mbay were a bit poor in facilities, I was relieved to find that the Sylvia Hotel in Kupag was very clean and had all the basic facilities. The spacious lobby and swimming pool located in the center of the hotel buildings gave a luxurious feel. It is located in downtown Kupang, so it has good accessibility to various downtown businesses. The staff at check-in, information desk, restaurant, etc. were all very friendly and sincere. The hotel room was a standard room, with basic facilities and amenities provided. I was particularly satisfied with the spacious bed and bathroom. One thing that was disappointing was the lack of shower facilities. The shampoo and body soap provided in liquid form were a bit uncomfortable to the touch and it was difficult to control the amount. Also, the warm water in the shower booth was not satisfactory because the water pressure was very weak. The water pressure in the shower was weak and the heat level was not controlled. What I felt while waiting for my car at check-out was that I wish there were enough comfortable sofas and chairs in the lobby for waiting guests. Anyway, overall, I am satisfied with the basics and reasonable cost-effectiveness for the price.

Clean and super helpfull staff. Big swimming pool. The smell of soap for shower is weird though. Local market with fresh veggies, laundry, ATM's, and a medium size convenient store is nearby, so I found it very handy. Let's hope the breakfast is also good! :)

Good deals, all staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and excelent wifi signal, but rooms lighting is lacking for those who intend to work in the room. The bathroom is a bit dark, poor TV signal. Good breakfast, and other dishes are delicious.There is a coffee corner too, but the entrance area in front of the lobby is not wide enough.

Comfortable bed. Complete amenities. Lack of lighting in the bathroom. Ants near the mini bar. Broken cupboard. For the meeting room: poor projector. Poor WiFi. Snack was okay
